Data Deletion Instructions

JS Data and Media Consults, Inc. ("js data") processes commerce and advertising data on behalf of client brands, delivering it into warehouses those clients own. This page explains how to have data deleted from systems we control, and how to cut off our access entirely. Our full practices are described in our privacy policy.

Request deletion

1. Email jon@jsdata.ai with the subject line "Data deletion request."
2. Tell us which platform and account the request concerns (for example, a Meta ad account, TikTok Shop, Shopify store, or Amazon seller account) and, if you are a client, send it from an email address associated with your account so we can verify the request.
3. We will confirm receipt, revoke and delete the associated credentials and tokens, and delete the associated data from all systems we control within 30 days (routine backups age out on their own schedule). You will receive written confirmation when deletion is complete.

Revoke our access yourself

You can also cut off our access instantly from the platform's own settings — no request to us needed:

• Meta: Business Settings → Partners (or Apps) → remove js data's access.
• TikTok Shop: Seller Center → App & Service authorizations → revoke the js data app.
• Shopify: Admin → Settings → Apps and sales channels → uninstall the app.
• Amazon: Seller Central → Apps & Services → Manage Your Apps → revoke authorization; for Amazon Ads, remove access under account access settings.

Revoking access stops all data flow immediately. If you also want previously extracted data removed from our systems, follow the request process above.

What we can and can't delete

• On our infrastructure: we delete credentials, staged data, and pipeline copies — fully within our control.
• In your own warehouse: data we delivered into a warehouse you own is yours; you (or we, on request as part of an engagement) can delete it there.
• On the platforms themselves: deleting data from Meta, TikTok, Shopify, or Amazon is governed by those platforms — deletion from our systems does not affect the source data in your platform accounts.

If you're a shopper or ad viewer

If your request concerns your personal information as a customer of one of the brands we serve, that brand is the data controller — please contact them directly. We assist our clients in honoring verified deletion requests, and you can also email jon@jsdata.ai and we will route the request appropriately.
